The relationship between roaster and coffee farmer is an important one. Working with quality green beans is essential to our profiling process; therefore we are always looking for farmers who are as passionate about coffee as we are. We recently became connected to such a group of farmers in Nicaragua. Located on the border between Matagalpa and Jinotega, Gold Mountain Farms has a reputation for growing exceptional coffee and for having some of the highest paid workers in the region. We are very excited to be working directly with them and have them as part of our coffee offerings, namely Don Roger and Don Francisco.

From handcrafted boxes to letter-pressed cards, Joe Bean has carefully overseen every aspect of our gift offerings. We believe the result is a group of gifts that are as much a pleasure to give as they are to receive. And for those who love artisan brewing as much as we do, we have introduced a new line of Brew by Hand mugs, shirts and boxes.

Our coffee bar and roastery is located in the Neighborhood of the Arts, downtown Rochester. Our coffee bar serves artisan brewed coffee, craft beer, select wines, and artisan foods. In addition, our coffee lab provides a place for public coffee cuppings, classes and demonstrations. Coffee is roasted daily on-site in our back room roastery.
